aking on a strong position in pushing for the design and development of a supercar that scores high in the aspects of production philosophy, performance and form. Riding at the heels of the smashing success of the Koenigsegg CC by retaining its distinct design concept and original form, this latest masterpiece is expected to be a real showstopper even from a distance with the perfect combination of familiar elements of the CC and fresh additions in both the exterior and interior sections of the Swedish supercar.

The 2011 Koensigsegg Agera sets new standards for high performance sports car giving the Swedish company its enviable position reputation as a marquee player in the exotic supercharged car segment. But the company breaks barrier and performs outside of its comfort zone and is poised to offer premium additions beyond our expectations. The BIG pluses of the Koenigsegg masterpiece include the largest luggage compartment in its class and the innovative removable hardtop can, which redefine the standards of high end supercars and give competition a run for their money.

The Swedish supercar manufacturer is expected to adopt the production program for its 2011 Koenigsegg Agera that runs parallel to the top selling Koenigsegg CCX and Koenigsegg CCXR variants. Koenigsegg celebrates a major milestone with the release of the Agera, topping its 15-year successful run in creating technological marvels that set the standard of performance on the track and on the road. Agera, which is derived from the Greek word “ageratos,” is brimming with fresh elements and sharp characteristics in its design concept and performance.

The Company has been able to inject a youthful character that is so unique of the Agera, yet it gives you the familiar elements that are distinctively Koenigsegg. This latest offering by the Swedish company has sent a strong message to all and sundry. In fact, it is determined to stay way up front and ahead of the rest of the pack in more than just the speed. It has dared to break the barriers of performance by going beyond the typical limits of excellence known by the competition.

Automotive experts agree that the 2011 Koenigsegg has been able to retain all the elements that made Koenigsegg a success for the last 15 years, while adding some innovations to provide the Agera a personality that is distinct from its older siblings. So, what are the new things that we can expect from the Agera?

The braking technology of the 2011 Koenigsegg Agera is probably one of the most exciting additions. The braking system is equipped with the proprietary ventilated brakes made of ceramics. It can zip seamlessly at high speed as it draws power from a 4.7 li V8 workhorse engine that is outfitted with modified air flow. The Agera twin engine runs on regular petrol delivering a strong kick of 910 horsepower. The Agera can really burn some rubber as it can reach 62 mph in just 3.1 seconds and 240 mph is just under 9 seconds. The top speed of the Agera is 245 mph. This exotic Swedish speedster also scores some big points in safety as it comes with the latest traction technology giving you unmatched handling and control in various driving styles and road conditions.

The interior of the Agera evokes a stylish character owing to its distinctive Ghost light system. This new lighting system illuminates the control buttons at the dash and center control console using invisible nano tube lights. The billet and the aluminum surface are also illuminated, giving you a clear view of the panel markings and instrumentation symbols. The Agera also features an information screen that deliver on-demand critical information and data such as the Sat-Nav, compass, lap timer and music among others.

The 2011 Koenigsegg Agera features 15.4-inch tires out front and 15-inch rear tires. The front end of the Agera delivers a striking look with its intricate and smooth LED headlights, perky multi-clusters, restyled bumper and new rear light assembly, giving it a whole new stance that is unmistakably futuristic. The body frame of the Agera is 169 inches long, 78.6 inches wide and 44.1 inches high. This exotic supercar total weight is 2832 lbs and provides a ground clearance of almost 4 inches.

While those who love to stay on the fast lane consider the CCX and CCXR as the ultimate choices for super fast sports car, Koenigsegg has gone a step further with the Agera by going for reduced power in favor of top end performance. Koenigsegg really went all out in their latest offering. On top of the commitment in delivering a real racetrack performer, it has also hit the mark creating an exotic sports car that is also a looker on the street as well. The low-slung body configuration of the Agera and its aggressive front pose cuts a sharp silh

e C-Class lineup. New- generation telematics offer new infotainment and navigation features.

“In terms of driveline and safety systems, the new-generation C-Class offers the com- fort and safety of our luxury vehicles - and with many high-end details in the interior evocative of the new CLS, the new C-Class sets completely new benchmarks in its segment when it comes to premium look-and-feel,” says Dr. Joachim Schmidt, Execu- tive Vice President Sales & Marketing Mercedes-Benz Cars. This interior upgrade is further enhanced by the latest generation of telematics, which not only features com- pletely new visuals, but also brings improved functionality.

A total of more than 2,000 new parts distinguish the newest generation of the Mer- cedes-Benz C-Class from its predecessor. The U.S. market introduction is scheduled for summer 2011 (available to order in Europe as of January 2011). Alongside the generous standard equipment, the Sport and Luxury versions of the new C-Class form the basis of the individualization program, with both lines now more clearly dif- ferentiated from each other.

The C-Class is Mercedes-Benz’s highest volume model range, and therefore especially important. The current range has chalked up global sales of more than one million units since its launch in March 2007. Since the market introduction of the first C- Class in 1982 (known then as the 190), Mercedes-Benz has sold more than 8.5 mil- lion vehicles around the world.

    Dynamic, determined and confident exterior

The bumper now has a more distinctive and dynamic design, with the front end adopting the brand’s new design language. The central element of the front end is the grille, which is further enhanced by the new bumper design. The center air intake opens upward in a v-shape and forms the core element of the grille design. Distinc- tive lines emerge from the base of the aggressive arrow design in the center. Running beneath the headlamps, these character lines transition into the side profile. The out- board air intakes in the bumper are positioned very low down to give the car a more muscular stance.

The C-Class features a new aluminum hood, which contributes to weight reduc- tion and consequently to improved fuel efficiency. Contours around the head- lamps and grille bring additional emphasis to the front-end arrow form. Working together with the redesigned headlamps, the overall front-end look is far more distinctive.

Modified clear glass headlamps create a more dynamic and determined look and, to- gether with the hood, grille and bumper enhance the arrow visual at the front end. This precise, contemporary look is reinforced by the design of both the exterior and interior of the headlamp units, which feature a finely balanced interplay between matte and gloss surfaces. The halogen headlamps follow the classic format with low beam located on the outside and high beam in the inside, while the indicator lamps are discre

While most hybrid vehicles use the electric engine to run the vehicle as well, the Silverado is very different. The electricity is only used to run the vehicle when idling, and handle the internal workings of the truck such as the heater and air conditioner for example.  The 2008 Chevy Silverado Hybrid still offers the impressive power and torque that a Silverado is known and loved for.

The Silverado Hybrid is certainly helpful during times of increased fuel prices. With a difference of 2-3 miles per gallon more on a hybrid than standard Silverado, you are definitely going a bit further between filling up. This difference is enough that it takes only few years before you start to see any impressive savings. However, couple the small savings off the gas, along with the Hybrid tax incentive that the IRS is passing out and your savings could start adding up a lot sooner.

While many hybrid vehicles are known to be a bit wimpy in terms of power and torque, the Silverado is lacking nothing in either area. Standing on its own, this dedicated truck keeps working at full power and never slows down. You can still haul everything you need in this lifetime and next without having to worry about being stuck on the side of the road. The leg room and comfort of

With some great options such as power windows and even locks, plus a great sounding six speaker CD system, and add to that remote keyless entry standard, this definitely leans towards the luxury SUV side. The next set of good news is that models that are automatic transmission equipped feature remote start so there is no more starting the car on those freezing mornings.

2008 Chevy HHR Engine The HHR features two engines, one is the 2.2 liter 4 cylinder engine, which offers a small 145 horsepower, and the other is a slightly bigger 2.4-liter 4 cylinder engine that offers a whopping 171 horsepower.
