Chrysler 300 Lambo Doors 2012,2013
19th April 2012
Among the different types of cars on the road today, there is no doubt about the style and design of the Lamborghini being among the best. The Lamborghini cars are what most vehicle enthusiast dreams are woven around. The cars are a lavish and most of the time a once in a life time investment. Lamborghini doors which are vertical doors are unique and exotic accessories. The performance crazy enthusiasts all over the world are enthralled with the vehicle’s roadworthiness and the beauty of the vertical door design that makes the car stand apart in a crowd.
The dedicated Lamborghini doors open vertically, with a push on the door outward to open the door and then the vertical door is pushed up for that great and most mesmerizing ‘Lamborghini’ effect. The Lamborghini doors are expected to open outward first and then upward, when sued to customize Chrysler 300 with wider body designs. It hardly matters what car you own, customizing the beauty on wheels with Lamborghini doors makes the design even more versatile and composed. The Lamborghini doors are made to fit most Chrysler 300 models and the special Lamborghini door kits are easily available. The Lamborghini doors offer the Chrysler 300 of any style and versatility.
The LHS’s design can be traced to 1986, when designer Kevin Verduyn completed the initial exterior design of a new aerodynamic concept sedan called Navajo. The design never passed the clay model stage. It was also at this time that the Chrysler Corporation purchased bankrupt Italian sports car manufacturer Lamborghini. The Navajo’s exterior design was reworked and became the Lamborghini Portofino, released as a concept at the 1987 Frankfurt Auto Show. The Portofino was heralded as a design triumph, setting in motion Chrysler’s decision to produce a production sedan with the Portofino’s revolutionary exterior design, called “cab-forward”.
The Chrysler 300, or 300C in certain markets, was Chrysler’s effort at entering the game of four door sedans with a serious aim for the European market.
This happened while Mercedes (Daimler) was still involved with Chrysler and that is why the 2005-2010 version of the Chrysler 300 rode on the same platform as the W210 Mercede E Class. While the platform may have been outdated and the name may have been borrowed from a much older model in the American company’s history the engines they put in and the appearance was simply on a different level.
Often praised in Europe for its aggression but plenty of times criticized everywhere else for looking like the Chrysler 300C was marketing to “ghetto” buyers. Certainly, the convertible version of the Chrysler 300 doesn’t help batter that image but nobody can overthrow the positive side of the estate.
Designed to deliver excitement, the Chrysler 300 S6 and 300 S8 models feature a performance-tuned suspension with performance shocks, steering, all-season performance Goodyear Eagle RSA tires and performance brake linings.
The 2010 Chrysler 300 S6 delivers its driving excitement through a fuel-efficient, 250 horsepower (186 kW) 24-valve 3.5-liter high-output V-6 engine with Auto Stick, capable of 25 highway mpg.
Chrysler 300 S8 offers exceptional performance with the legendary 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine, which generates 360 horsepower (268 kW) and 389 lb.-ft. (527 N•m) of torque and features fuel-saving Multi-displacement System (MDS) technology that provides as much as a 20 percent improvement in fuel economy. Mated to a quality-proven five-speed Auto Stick transmission, the 2010 Chrysler 300 S8 delivers 25 highway mpg.
The cabins of the new Chrysler 300 S6 and 300 S8 models exude a serious, athletic-interior theme. A uniquely designed steering wheel with carbon weave is accented with red stitching and brushed silver spokes. Beautifully bolstered Dark Slate Gray leather front seats are track-tested and feature an embroidered “300 S” logo on the seatback. Specially perforated Dark Slate Gray suede fills the front and rear seats, seatback and seat cushion with hints of red accent beneath. The Dark Slate interior theme continues around the driver and passenger side and is highlighted with brushed aluminum accents on the instrument panel center stack, center console side trim and upper-door trim. Carbon-weave door-pull handles with red accent stitching finish off the interior of both 300 S6 and 300 S8 models.
The interior begins with a leather-based-wrapped, heated SRT steering wheel with metal paddle shifters on every side. Built-in into the dashboard is real carbon fiber trim, gloss black surrounds and chrome accents. The standard sport seats, upholstered in Alcantara and leather, are heated and ventilated and feature the SRT logo emblazoned on the seatback. The door panels mirror the same treatment. Underfoot, the accelerator and brake pedals are steel with small rubber nubs for better traction. The 2012 Chrysler 300 in our images was configured with the Radar Red inside, one in every of two normal colors. For one thing a bit much less boastful, choose the simple black interior or upgrade to the premium leather with Poltrona Frau Foligno upholstery with leather-based-wrapped door panels, instrument panel, cluster forehead and center console aspect panels – it is fairly classy.
The 2012 Chrysler 300 is obtainable in rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, with V6 or V8 power. The 3.6-liter V6 sends power by way of a five-velocity (Base) or eight-speed (Limited and S) transmission. S V8 fashions use a 5.7-liter V8 and 5-pace automated transmission. The efficiency oriented SRT8 receives a mammoth 6.4-liter V8 and 5-pace computerized transmission. Customary security options embrace antilock disc brakes, energetic-headrests, driver knee, seat-mounted side and overhead curtain airbags, traction control, stability management and ignition disable. Available options embrace heated and ventilated leather entrance bucket seats, navigation system, Bluetooth and computerized dual-zone climate control.
Chrysler has kicked up the horsepower on the 2012 300C SRT8, courtesy of a larger-displacement 6.4-liter Hemi V8 rated at 465 horsepower. A five-speed automatic transmission drives the rear wheels. The company says 0-60-mph acceleration will land in the “high 4-second range,” and the big sedan will have a top speed of 175 mph. Chrysler said fuel economy numbers will be introduced closer to vehicle introduction.
The automaker said the 2012 300C SRT8 has a 0.5 inch lower ride height than other Chrysler 300 models. Exterior details include new seven-spoke 20-inch forged aluminum wheels. An optional Black Chrome package includes black chrome upper and lower grille surrounds and rear valance strip.
The cabin gets a leather-wrapped steering wheel, carbon-fiber trim and a new instrument panel with an 8.4-inch color touchscreen display. A new Harman Kardon audio system is optional.
